What is Immersion Hub?
Immersion Hub is an innovation platform that empowers students, startups, and professionals to build impactful IoT and tech-driven solutions. We offer training, mentorship, incubation programs, events, and resources to support innovators from idea to market.
Who can join Immersion Hub programs?
Our programs are open to university students, recent graduates, early-stage startup founders, educators, and tech professionals. Whether you're a beginner or a builder, there's a space for you here.
I’m new to IoT. Can I still participate?
Absolutely! We offer beginner-friendly programs like IoT Essentials for Students and workshops through university clubs. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Are Immersion Hub programs free?
Many of our student-facing workshops and clubs are free. However, some structured programs like the Startup Bootcamp or Incubation Program may have selection processes and may include subsidized fees or require grant/funding eligibility.
What kind of support do startups receive?
Startups receive access to co-working spaces, prototyping tools, technical mentorship, business coaching, and funding readiness training. We also provide opportunities to pitch to real investors at our Demo Days.
Can I start an IoT club in my university through Immersion Hub?
Yes! We actively support the launch of student-led IoT clubs. You’ll receive kits, learning resources, mentorship, and workshop facilitation support. Fill out the club interest form on our IoT for Students page.
Where is Immersion Hub located?
Our physical hub is based in Buea, Cameroon, but we work with universities, startups, and partners across Africa. We also offer hybrid and virtual programs to expand access.
